    Asharqia Young Businessmen Council reviews the support for the economic sectors during its visit to Riyadh.

     

    On Sunday 16 December 2018, His Excellency the Chairman of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah Al Hussein received Asharqia Young Businessmen Council delegation.

     The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Abdullah Al-Breikan, as the meeting comes within the work visit by the delegation to the city of Riyadh, which lasts for three days and includes the visit of a number of scientific and economic facilities in the capital.

     

    During the meeting, HE Abdullah Al Hussein reviewed the most prominent achievements of the news agency SPA at the local, external and regional levels.

    He talked about its role in highlighting local achievements in all areas and the most important economic achievements as well.

    He stressed that the Vision of the Kingdom 2030 emphasizes the economic aspect and its impact on the development of aspects of life in the Kingdom.

     

    The meeting stressed the importance of supporting the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector and the efforts of young businessmen to influence this sector and bring about change that is in line with the requirements of the new phase and the rapidly changing world.

     The meeting also highlighted the importance of digital transformation and its integration with companies in this sector, which has registered competition and excellence for the sector.

     

    On another visit of the delegation's work program yesterday, the Director-General of the Industrial Fund, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mujal, met with the delegation that reviewed the new fund strategy and its latest initiatives, and the role of the fund in the development of local industry.

    The meeting also reviewed the most important mechanisms of support provided by the Fund for young people through products and services that depend on improving the experience of the investor.

     

    On the third visit of the program, the delegation met with Deputy Governor of the General Authority of Customs Mohammed Altwaijri at the Saudi Customs Authority.

    The Council gave a presentation on the most important achievements and the aspirations of the young businessmen sector in the Eastern Province.

    It pointed out the importance of cooperation and integration with the strategic sectors to support this vital sector and help it to develop its tools and services.

     

    For his part, said the Chairman of the Council, Abdullah Al-Breikan, said that the young businessmen sector in the Kingdom is witnessing continuous growth, as an important part of the national economy system.

    He added, "This happened because of Allah, and then by the encouragement of the wise leadership of young entrepreneurs through putting them on the list of national options to move forward.

    Al-Barikan added that in light of these developments, it is important to stand on the experiences of others and exchange experiences and transfer new ideas that contribute to the development of business in line with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030.

     

    Al-Breikan pointed out to the young businessmen and the huge potential they possess.

    They are the source of the future industry, based on the support and encouragement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness the Crown Prince that stimulates the energies of young people in various fields and facilitates their entry into the national economy and contributes strongly to the development efforts within the vision of 2030.

     He said, "It is imperative for us to emphasize our presence in its programs and initiatives and to be an active figure in achieving its objectives."

     

    Al-Breikan said that Asharqia Young Businessmen Council with its growing role in the development of the future entrepreneurs of the people of the region work to monitor their experiences and ideas and embody them in investment projects with added value in the national economy.

    Over the past years, the Board has made many achievements in serving the young businessmen sector by enriching their economic knowledge and increasing their skills in self-employment, in the framework of the expansion of its various programs, which are attended by wide presence among the youth businessmen sector in the region.​
